FieldPulse is field service management software for contractors that combines scheduling, dispatching, customer records, estimates, invoices, payments, and mobile job tools. The official web application offers email-and-password access, a password-recovery link, Google sign-in, and a signup route.
This independent guide is not operated by or affiliated with FieldPulse.
Most people searching for FieldPulse need to reach the correct account, understand whether they need the business app or a customer portal, or fix a mobile feature that has stopped updating. Start by identifying which type of user you are. Skip account changes until that is clear.
What is FieldPulse?
FieldPulse is a cloud-based field service management platform built for businesses that schedule technicians, manage jobs, communicate with customers, prepare estimates, issue invoices, and track operational activity. Its feature set includes customer management, job and work-order management, scheduling and dispatching, reporting, pricebooks, project tools, inventory functions, portals, and a mobile app.
The product is commonly associated with trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and other commercial or residential service businesses. FieldPulse’s official materials describe separate tools for office teams, field employees, and customers rather than one identical interface for everyone.
That division explains many login problems.
A technician may need the mobile app. An administrator may use the full web application. A homeowner or commercial customer may receive access to a company-specific Customer Portal. Entering valid credentials on the wrong screen can still produce no useful account history.
Where is the FieldPulse login?
The official FieldPulse web application login displays Email Address, Password, Forgot Password?, Login, and Sign in with Google. It also includes a signup option for users creating an account.
Use the main web app when you are a FieldPulse business owner, administrator, dispatcher, or team member with account access. Service agents can also use the FieldPulse mobile app on supported iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet devices.
Customers of a contractor may need a different page. FieldPulse’s Customer Portal lets clients view items such as jobs, estimates, invoices, and payments through a portal provided by the service business.
Do this first: open the link supplied by your employer or service company. Skip random portal pages found through search because FieldPulse booking and customer portals can be customized for individual businesses.
Why can’t I log in?
Begin with the exact screen.
The main FieldPulse login supports both conventional credentials and Google sign-in. A company administrator can enable Google Single Sign-On through Company Settings, User Accounts, and the Sign in with Google tab. Administrators may also whitelist email domains or require individual users to sign in through Google.
This creates a real friction point. A user may keep attempting a FieldPulse password even though the company requires Google authentication for that account.
Two-factor authentication adds another checkpoint. FieldPulse’s help documentation says 2FA is required for users and can be configured under Company Settings, User Accounts, and the Two-Factor Authentication tab. Administrators can also set the number of days before users must complete 2FA again.
Check these possibilities before repeatedly retrying:
- The company requires Sign in with Google.
- The user is opening a customer portal instead of the business app.
- The account has been deactivated by an administrator.
- The user is entering an email address different from the one assigned to the account.
- A 2FA setup or reauthentication step remains incomplete.
Use the Forgot Password? option only for a password-based account. It will not correct a Google SSO restriction or restore a deactivated team member.
Why is FieldPulse loading slowly?
FieldPulse’s official troubleshooting guide recommends comparing Wi-Fi and mobile data first. When the problem appears on only one connection, the connection itself may be the cause. The guide also recommends closing unused apps or browser windows, updating the device and browser, clearing the app cache, reinstalling the mobile app, and restarting the device.
For the web application, FieldPulse specifically suggests clearing browser cache, cookies, and history, disabling unused browser add-ons, and testing another browser. If the second browser works normally, the original browser or one of its extensions is the more likely source of the problem.
Use that sequence.
Do not reinstall the app first when several users are reporting the same problem at the same time. Check whether the issue affects one device, one network, one browser, or the whole team. That small triage step prevents every technician from changing settings for what may be a shared service or connection problem.
FieldPulse also states that account data is stored on its servers and should sync when a user logs in on a new supported device.
Why are notifications not appearing?
FieldPulse documents three separate notification layers: the WebApp, the device’s operating system, and the FieldPulse mobile app. A user may enable one while another remains disabled.
In the WebApp, each team member must open the person icon, select My Settings, and adjust notification preferences under Notifications. These preferences are user-specific rather than one universal switch controlled for the whole team.
In the mobile app, the documented path begins with the profile icon, followed by My Settings and Notification Settings. The user must save the revised preferences. iPhone and Android users must also permit FieldPulse notifications in the device’s own settings.
This is the common mistake: an administrator confirms that company notifications exist, but the affected technician has disabled them locally.
Check all three layers. Skip reinstalling until the app-level and device-level permissions have been reviewed.
What can technicians do in the mobile app?
FieldPulse describes field-only access for team members who work exclusively through the mobile application. These users can view assigned jobs, read job details and notes, upload files, and clock in or out with location tracking, without requiring full back-office access.
The mobile application also supports core field-service work such as schedules, customer information, estimates, invoices, and job updates, depending on the user’s permissions and the company’s FieldPulse configuration.
A technician who cannot see an office feature may not have a broken account. The company may have purchased a field-only seat or assigned a limited role.
Ask an administrator to verify the seat and permissions first. Skip repeated logouts when the missing menu is caused by account configuration.
FieldPulse also documents an Offline Mode for situations where a mobile user loses internet access in the field. Feature behavior can vary while offline, so technicians should confirm that changes have synchronized after connectivity returns.
How does FieldPulse pricing work?
FieldPulse currently uses customized, seat-based pricing rather than publishing one universal per-user amount. Full-access seats cover the broader platform, including scheduling, customer management, invoicing, estimates, reporting, and other administrative tools. Field-only seats are intended for mobile workers who do not need back-office access.
The official pricing page says the rate depends on team size, setup, and the access required by each seat. It directs prospective customers to request pricing. FieldPulse also lists optional products and capabilities such as its phone system, AI tools, payments, financing, fleet tracking, custom forms, and advanced platform features.
Do not rely on a fixed number copied from a comparison site. Several third-party pages publish conflicting estimates, while FieldPulse’s current official page says pricing is customized.
A useful quote request should specify the number of office users, field technicians, locations, integrations, and optional products required.
Does FieldPulse integrate with QuickBooks?
FieldPulse supports both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop integrations. Its official materials describe two-way synchronization for customers, invoices, payments, and other supported records, but not every FieldPulse field or QuickBooks feature is included.
The implementation agreement lists several concrete limitations. For QuickBooks Online, unsupported items include some custom fields, attachments, invoice groupings, refunds, voided payments, journal entries, and other record types. It also states that line items need a quantity and price in QuickBooks or they may sync into FieldPulse as $0. Customer records need a first name, last name, or company name, or they may appear blank.
Another documented setup step is easy to miss: before synchronization, QuickBooks Online users are instructed to disable Automatically apply credits under Gear Icon, Accounts and Settings, Advanced, and Automation.
For QuickBooks Desktop, FieldPulse supports specified 2023-and-newer Windows editions. The documentation says Mac installations and server-based installations are not supported in the described setup.
Do not start a sync after separately creating the same invoices and customers in both systems. FieldPulse explicitly advises businesses that have duplicated work in both platforms to contact support before initiating synchronization.
How to contact FieldPulse support
FieldPulse publishes customer support through phone, email, chat, and its Help Center. The official contact page lists support availability by phone Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time and identifies (469) 382-5668 as the support number.
FieldPulse help articles also identify support@fieldpulse.com and the in-app or website chat option as support channels.
Use technical support for login, syncing, loading, permissions, or unexpected product behavior. Feature requests should be described separately from defects so the team can route the request correctly.
When contacting support, provide the affected feature, device type, browser or mobile platform, approximate time of the issue, and whether other users are affected. Avoid sending sensitive account or payment information in an unsolicited message.
Frequently asked questions
Is FieldPulse a CRM?
It includes customer-management and CRM functions.
Can customers log in to FieldPulse?
A service company can provide customers with access to its Customer Portal, where available items may include jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, service requests, and communication. The exact portal experience depends on how that FieldPulse business has configured it.
Does FieldPulse have a mobile app?
Yes. FieldPulse provides mobile applications for supported Apple and Android devices.
Why does Google login work for others but not me?
Your company may have restricted Google SSO to approved email domains or may not have enabled it for your user. An administrator can review the Sign in with Google settings under Company Settings and User Accounts.
Can FieldPulse work without internet?
The mobile app has an Offline Mode for field situations where connectivity is lost. Confirm that saved activity synchronizes after the device reconnects.
Why did an invoice sync as $0?
FieldPulse says QuickBooks Online line items must contain both quantity and price. Missing values can cause the item to sync into FieldPulse as $0.
Does FieldPulse publish its prices?
No fixed public amount is shown for every setup. Pricing is seat-based and customized according to team size and required access.
Where should I start when FieldPulse is not working?
Test another connection or browser first. Then check app updates, cache, device software, user permissions, and FieldPulse’s documented support channels.
