FieldPulse is field service management software that brings scheduling, dispatching, customer records, estimates, invoices, payments, and technician tools into one system. A business user normally enters through the FieldPulse web or mobile application, while a contractor’s customer may receive a separate portal link.
This independent guide is not operated by or affiliated with FieldPulse.
The first priority is choosing the right access path. Do that before resetting credentials, reinstalling the app, or creating another account.
What is FieldPulse?
FieldPulse is a cloud-based platform for field service businesses that need to manage office work and jobs performed away from the office. Its published capabilities include scheduling and dispatching, customer management, work orders, estimates, invoices, payments, reporting, pricebooks, inventory, project management, custom forms, customer communication, and mobile access.
The platform can serve several types of users:
- Business owners and administrators
- Dispatchers and office staff
- Field technicians
- Customers of the service business
Those groups do not necessarily see the same menus. A technician’s mobile access may be narrower than an administrator’s web access, while a customer portal belongs to the contractor that invited the customer.
That difference explains many apparent login failures.
Use the correct FieldPulse login
The FieldPulse sign-in page is available through the company’s FieldPulse login domain. It is intended for users with a FieldPulse business account rather than customers trying to review work performed by a particular contractor.
A contractor’s customer may instead receive a company-specific Customer Portal address. Search results show that these portals can be tied to an individual FieldPulse business and display that company’s own login page.
Use the invitation or link supplied by the contractor first. Skip generic portal searches because another FieldPulse company’s customer page will not contain your records.
Office teams generally use the web application. Technicians can use the FieldPulse mobile application, whose current listing describes job, estimate, invoice, payment-reminder, and customer-management functions for field service teams.
A valid account on the wrong page can look like a missing account.
Why a user may see fewer features
FieldPulse pricing and implementation are configured around the business’s team and selected capabilities rather than one identical package for every employee. Its official pricing page lists core field-service functions alongside optional products such as Engage, Operator AI, Chat AI, FieldPulse Payments, financing, fleet tracking, custom forms, and pricebook tools.
User permissions can also limit what a technician or office employee sees. A field worker may need jobs, schedules, customer details, estimates, or invoices without needing access to company settings or accounting configuration.
Check the user’s role first. Skip repeated app installations when the missing screen may be controlled by account permissions or the company’s subscription setup.
This is particularly relevant when one employee can open a feature and another cannot. A company-wide outage would usually affect more than one correctly configured user.
FieldPulse mobile app problems
Mobile trouble should be separated into connection, device, permission, and account problems.
FieldPulse maintains a troubleshooting collection covering supported devices and browsers, connectivity and slow loading, push notifications, display settings, and barcode use in the mobile app. The Help Center also publishes the company’s support email and customer-support number.
Start with a controlled test:
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Close and reopen the app.
- Confirm that the app and device software are current.
- Check whether another team member has the same issue.
- Review the user’s permissions and assigned jobs.
Do not clear or reinstall everything first. That makes it harder to identify whether the original cause was the network, device, or account.
User reports in the Google Play listing mention photo-upload concerns, which makes connection testing especially relevant when technicians attach many job images. A public review is not proof of a platform-wide defect, but it identifies a practical case where teams should confirm that files finished uploading before leaving the job record.
Can FieldPulse work without internet?
FieldPulse documents an Offline Mode for technicians who lose connectivity while working in the field. The mobile app can continue supporting certain work during the interruption.
Offline does not mean every server-dependent action is completed immediately.
When service returns, confirm that job notes, time entries, photos, forms, and status changes have synchronized. Avoid having two users edit the same record offline unless the company has tested how that workflow behaves after reconnection.
Short rule: reconnect, then verify.
A technician should also avoid assuming that a missing update was deleted. It may still be waiting to synchronize from the device.
Why FieldPulse notifications may stop
FieldPulse maintains separate Help Center sections for communication, notifications, and push-notification troubleshooting. Its documentation distinguishes customer communication settings from the technical delivery of app notifications.
A missed alert may come from several layers:
- The FieldPulse user’s notification preferences
- The mobile app’s permission settings
- The phone’s operating-system notification controls
- Battery-saving or background-activity restrictions
- The company’s workflow or customer-notification configuration
Check the device permission first, then the FieldPulse preference. Skip changing a company workflow until the affected user’s local settings have been ruled out.
This is a hands-on distinction. Office staff may see an event in the web application while the assigned technician receives no push notification because the phone has blocked alerts.
Customer Portal and Booking Portal are different
FieldPulse offers customer-facing tools, but a Customer Portal should not be confused with a public booking page.
Its customer-management materials describe a Customer Portal where customers can access job details and related files, send messages, and book work.
FieldPulse’s broader feature list separately includes both Customer Portal and Booking Portal capabilities.
The practical difference is the relationship with the service company. A booking page can be used before a customer has an established job history, while a customer portal may expose records connected to an existing customer profile.
A homeowner who only wants to request service may not need a FieldPulse login at all. The contractor may provide a booking link instead.
Use the business’s link. Do not create an employee account.
QuickBooks integration needs preparation
FieldPulse markets integration with QuickBooks and says data can remain synchronized when invoices or records are updated across the systems.
The implementation is not simply a switch that should be turned on without reviewing existing records.
FieldPulse’s Customer Success Agreement covers QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop integration, implementation, data transfer, training, and go-live responsibilities. It also states that FieldPulse offers documentation and limited troubleshooting but does not perform data cleansing or reorganization for the customer.
This creates two priorities:
- Clean and standardize customers, products, services, and invoices before syncing.
- Decide which system will be the main source for each record type.
Skip creating the same open invoices independently in both systems before the first sync. Duplicate or mismatched records take longer to untangle than a carefully prepared migration.
Recent FieldPulse release documentation also states that deposits collected on estimates are treated as liabilities in QuickBooks Online or Desktop until the project is completed and the final payment is received. That accounting behavior should be reviewed with the person responsible for the company books.
What does FieldPulse cost?
FieldPulse does not publish one fixed public price that applies to every business configuration. Its official pricing page directs businesses toward customized pricing and lists the modules and products that can affect the setup.
Independent software directories also show no confirmed public starting price or advise readers to use FieldPulse’s official pricing page for current information.
A useful quote request should include:
- Number of office users
- Number of field technicians
- Required mobile access
- QuickBooks version
- Customer or booking portal needs
- Payments and financing requirements
- Phone, AI, fleet, or custom-form products
- Data migration needs
Pricing can also vary by region. FieldPulse operates separate country sites, including an Australian site with its own request-pricing page and regional product references.
Do not use an unofficial estimate as a contract figure.
How to contact FieldPulse support
FieldPulse’s official contact page lists Customer Support at (469) 382-5668 and Sales at +1 (817) 635-2218. The company also provides chat and contact forms.
The Help Center publishes Support@FieldPulse.com together with the same customer-support number.
Use support for account access, product behavior, sync problems, mobile issues, or questions about an existing FieldPulse setup. Use sales or the pricing process for a new subscription or product quote.
Before contacting support, note:
- Web or mobile app
- Device and operating system
- Browser, when relevant
- Affected feature
- Approximate time of the problem
- Whether other users are affected
- Whether Wi-Fi and mobile data behave differently
Do not include confidential login or payment information in an unsolicited message.
Frequently asked questions
Is FieldPulse only for HVAC companies?
No. FieldPulse markets its field service platform across several contractor and service industries, including electrical contracting and other mobile service businesses.
Is there a FieldPulse mobile app?
Yes. It is available for mobile field-service work.
Can customers log in?
A contractor can provide a business-specific Customer Portal. Customers should use the link sent by that contractor rather than the employee login.
Does FieldPulse work offline?
The mobile app includes an Offline Mode, although users should confirm synchronization after the connection returns.
Why can my coworker see a feature that I cannot?
The difference may be caused by user permissions, selected products, or the company’s FieldPulse setup rather than an app failure.
Does FieldPulse connect with QuickBooks?
Yes. FieldPulse advertises QuickBooks integration, while its implementation agreement sets out configuration, migration, and support boundaries.
Is FieldPulse pricing public?
Not as one fixed rate for every setup. FieldPulse uses a request-pricing process.
What should I check before reporting an app problem?
Confirm the connection, app version, device software, user permissions, and whether the issue affects anyone else. Then use FieldPulse’s official Help Center or customer-support channels.
